CAD Workstation

We have 1 dedicated workstation available for 3D design.

Our dedicated workstation, CAD-1, is available to perform fabrication related tasks.

CAD-1 is a public workstation.
Any files you leave on CAD-1 will be accessible to other members.
Please tidy your files after use, and log out of all software.

Installed Software

• Fusion 360 (Members are required to bring their own login) - Commercial CAD/CAM Software.
• FreeCAD - Open Source 3D CAD design software.
• Carbide Create - Commerical 2D/2.5D CAD for CNC.

• PrusaSlicer - Open source slicing software for 3D printers.

• Inkscape - Open source 2D Vector design software.

• Inkcut - Vinyl cutter control software.
• KiCad - Open source electronic design/PCB design software.

Note on Fusion 360

• The Hackspace does not maintain a license for Fusion360
• If you want to use Fusion360, you must login with your own Fusion360 license.
• You can register for a personal license for Fusion 360.
• It is your own responsibility to log-out of Fusion 360 when you have finished.
